Artesanias Loreto

Artesanias Loreto began in 1997 working with artisan and farmer groups in rural Bolivia and is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization of Latin America. They assist low-income and disadvantaged artisans and farmers, providing a fair and just income for their work. They purchase and market crafts and other products from twelve artisan groups around Bolivia that strive to improve living conditions in their communities. In addition, they focus on providing technical assistance and new product development and design opportunities for the artisans. Artesanias Loreto is also and educational organization concerned with the roots causes of poverty and issues involving injustice, human rights and cultural awareness.
